Riggs Glacier

Here is Ann kayaking about 100 yards from the face of Riggs Glacier.  Riggs is now grounded at low tide, so there isn't much danger of calving ice.  However, at some of the other tidewater glaciers, you can get 10 foot high breaking waves when a big chunk of ice falls off, which is not healthy for kayakers.
